Crystal and Patrick's wedding
I was very lucky this year when I was asked to document Crystal and Patrick's wedding.
They knew that I have no experience in documenting weddings but they insisted. Crystal fell in love with my portfolio pictures and the ones I took for them at the Freedom Park in Charlotte. They wanted to give me the opportunity which I was so grateful for her encouragement.
They chose to get married in Patrick's parents home by the swimming pool. It was a special wedding only a few friends and family members and full of emotions, fun and love.
Here I have posted some photographs, the rest are in my account in Flickr.
Here they are after they became husband and wife.
Rankin Lake Park
A new park has been re-open in Gastonia, the new Rankin Lake park offers a nice sidewalk all around the lake, pavilions for grilling and resting under the shade. You can also enjoy fishing.
The view is amazing and you can rent kayaks for only a couple of dollars, you can also buy some drinks and food at their conception kiosk. I invite everyone to stop by and relax.

2012 Democratic National Convention
2012 DNC
As a photographer I couldn't resist going to document the protest in uptown Charlotte on Sunday, since my wife Deanna was going to be at the Arena for a training that she volunteered to help at the Convention on the next Thursday. I spent several hours on Tryon Street and was able to capture not only the protesters, but also a good amount of reporters, police officers, merchants, photographers, beautiful girls and public figures.
So take a look at my photos and let me know if you like them.
